B8TS is Scaling Up: Funding, Strategy, and Our National Gathering

B8TS Momentum: From Local Grant Success to Strategic UK-Wide Partnership

The mission of Br8ke The Silence (B8TS) is simple: to dismantle harmful masculine stereotypes and provide men with safe, structured spaces for vulnerability and growth. Today, we are proud to share three significant steps that prove this movement is gaining crucial momentum and scale.

We are officially accelerating our work, thanks to pivotal new funding, a strategic partnership proposal, and our biggest event yet.

1. Community Trust: Fueling Our Local Work

We are delighted to announce that Br8ke The Silence has been awarded a £2,000 grant through the WNIC work stream from Newham London.

This funding is a powerful vote of confidence from our local community, reinforcing the value of our preventative, peer-supported interventions. This grant will directly support our ability to provide the language, confidence, and framework for young men to navigate modern manhood.

2. Scaling Impact: Our Vision for Academies

Beyond local community work, we are taking steps to integrate our Men’s Circles into education. We have submitted a proposal to the Dixons Academies Trust to implement our proven Men's Circle program across their schools.

The challenge is clear: young men often lack non-judgmental spaces to discuss mental health and complex emotions, which leads to isolation and disruptive behaviours.

The B8TS Men's Circle is designed to solve this, offering benefits such as:

  • Improved Behavioural Outcomes: Providing a controlled outlet for emotional frustration.

  • Enhanced Male Engagement: Actively engaging young men in their own wellbeing, which can boost academic focus.

  • Increased Resilience & Empathy: Equipping students with crucial emotional literacy skills.

We have proposed a structured rollout, starting with a pilot in one academy in Year 1 before expanding to three new circles annually from Year 2 onward. This is how we build a legacy of resilient, emotionally intelligent young men.

3. Unite. Reflect. Lead: Join Our National Gathering

Finally, mark your calendars! We are preparing for our most important event of the year: the B8TS Gathering: National Men’s Circles Day 2025.

  • When: Wednesday, 19 November 2025 (International Men’s Day).

  • Time: 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

  • Where: Marcus Lipton Youth Club, London.

This gathering is a unique space for men's circle leaders, facilitators, and supporters from across the UK to connect, reflect, and build a stronger movement of brotherhood and healing.

If you are a partner, advocate, or simply believe in the power of a man's circle, we urge you to join us!
